Introduction and Business Plan

A very special thank you to USSOCOM and Special Operation Forces (SOF) for all you are standing for.  HOOAH!

Ladies and Investors Your Best Walk Starts Here

This crowd funding offering is designated expressly for raising $500,000 to $1,000,000 in a special exclusive license transition for DAMP magnetic shock mitigation technology from the military to the women’s working professional and medical footwear markets.  This raise also includes prototypes and marketing of our shock mitigation sports helmet liner and vehicle seat cushion for licensing.

Benefits

What is shock mitigation?  Shock mitigation is the time coefficient of impact related dynamic load force deceleration.  Over a lifetime a wearer can save millions of tons of pressure to the body. This is a great thing!  The older we get the more we appreciate our feet.

Compared to a conventional boot, patented DAMPS magnetic shock mitigation technology reduced heel strike over 68% as tested with Special Operation Forces (SOF) in 2004, utilizing F-Scan the industry leader in pressure surface mapping.

DAMPS technology is recorded on the right.

Additionally there was as independent third party shock mitigation accelerometer testing in 2010 with Sperry that proved our superior shock mitigation merits against the best they had to offer. Sperry is now owned by Wolverine World Wide.

Shock mitigation means any person wearing DAMPS can walk ten miles and save their body the shock of seven. The shock savings to a person’s body over a life time are tremendous. There are no industry shock mitigation comparables.

In addition, DAMPS Technology Smart Boots have been operator field tested with SOF for over ten years and we are now pending an advanced FY 2017 shock mitigation program with the Office of Naval Research and the Navy Seals on their fast attack boats.  It doesn’t get any better than this!

B&B Technologies LP has specially modified the heel inserts from our boots and prototyped several sizes and style of women’s footwear with smaller DAMPS technology shock mitigation heel inserts and demonstrated them at the WSA shoe show in Las Vegas in 2016.

FITN (Fashion Integrated Technology Now). Our goal is to find licensing partners in the women’s markets. We have made contacts with several companies who have displayed interest, such as Mark Fisher, Steve Madden, Kenneth Cole, Dansco, Vince Kamuto, Sorel, Yellow Box, Alegria, Wolky, M403, Elan Polo and Nine West.

B&B Technologies LP will provide the specifications for our DAMPS heel insert to the licensing company for production modifications to existing women’s outsoles.  Shock Mitigation Technologies Inc. will provide the DAMPS magnetic shock mitigation inserts based on those licensing specifications.

Another unique aspect to the DAMPS shock mitigation insert is that a wearer can dial in the insert to match their individual shoe size weight and application, from 90lbs. to 300 lbs. by offering heel inserts with varying spring rates. The basic opposing magnets array remains the same.

We believe that this advanced magnetic shock mitigation technology will offer potential licensing partners a rare and unique premium brand and market differentiation advantage.

Use of Funds

The money raised in this offering will be utilized over a one year period, for producing five or more selected women’s working and professional shoes that are representative of the most popular sizes and styles in the women’s footwear market.  The women’s version of the DAMPS Technology shock mitigation heel insert have already been developed in CAD and prototyped in several existing women shoe and can be seen on www.TechnologyIsFashion.com.

Concurrently management will be utilizing industry marketing venues to introduce our new line of women’s FITN shock mitigation footwear for potential licensing. Our new lines will be unveiled and marketed at a least five selected shoe shoes over the same twelve month time period to support our licensing efforts. Show marketing will begin with the Magic Platform show in Las Vegas and New York 2018.

Projections

The women’s footwear market is over 25% of the projected 2018 $ 85 billion US footwear market. With DAMPS technology’s one of a kind premium brand shock mitigation differentiation, management project investors could be earning eight to nine figure licensing revenues in five years. The lynch pin is signing with an aggressive exclusive licensing partner or partners that understand the paradigm shift and valuation enhancement, especially for a public company. The licensee either wants to be maintaining or securing their brand dominance or some aggressive marketing group wanting to exponentially grow theirs.

One distinct advantage offering DAMPS technology to the women’s market is that the women’s market has a different price point or threshold than any other segment of the footwear market excluding medical.  Price Point is not a limiting determinant factor in their purchase.  Technology is Fashion! A fashion statement as a rare, premium branded shock mitigation technology package.

Art Federico

International Markets Director

B&B Technologies LP is disrupting the worldwide footwear industry by bridging the gap for shoe comfort with DAMPS military grade shock mitigation technologies from head to toe including (but not limited to) smart footwear, seats, chairs and safety sports helmets.

Moving forward, we are adding parallel product lines to our legacy “Made In the USA” DAMPS smart boots (which exclusively uses manufacturing and parts made in the USA), by bridging our shock mitigation technologies into the non-military commercial market space worldwide. Our primary target market is women’s shoes and we have embarked on our FITN campaign (Fashion Integrated Technology Now).

The analysis of footwear market reveals that the segment of women's footwear dominated the end- user segment, accounting for 50.5% market share in 2014. Additionally, the footwear market is expected to reach $371.8 Billion globally by 2020. (Allied Market Research)

From 2002 to the present, Arturo participated in many chamber sponsored and business focused delegations visiting countries (primarily in South America, Mexico and Central America) to connect with business, industry and government officials. He evangelized the DAMPS Smart Boots brand and planted the seeds along the way. Complimenting the brand awareness was the introduction of DAMPS technology to the non-military commercial market beginning with women’s shoes.

According to the Global Industry Analysts, Inc. Trends report (January 2015), the global market for Footwear is projected to reach 371.8 billion US dollars by 2020, driven by new design trends and rising discretionary spending among the expanding base of the middle class population.  In the casual footwear market, timeless classics are making a comeback with women preferring simple classic black pairs of shoes with medium heels which serve as perfect accessory for almost any outfit. Driven by this projection, we are primarily focused on our FITN campaign to introduce DAMPS for Women’s Shoes domestically and internationally with emphasis on the South American shoe market (with big focus on Brazil).

Acknowledging and respecting this important market space, we understand fully and want to help our mothers and grandmothers who may be experiencing plantar fasciitis or other painful foot ailments, as well as our hard working wives (professional, business, housewives and especially our expectant/pregnant wives incurring additional weight).

Additionally, to compliment DAMPS, we are developing other shock mitigating technologies including but not limited to our OACS technology for sports helmets.

Jon Nussbaum

Leidos Military Program Director

“We have a  great opportunity with the Special Forces as a result of our demos.  SOCPAC is working a program to continue the war on terrorism in the pacific.  We have an opportunity to get into this effort with boots for the crew and SEALS of multiple Combat Craft Attack that are going into a program that I cannot discuss in any detail beyond this.  I am working with the SOCPAC liaison officer from SOCPAC to SOCOM in Tampa.  I am meeting with him next week to work out scheduling.  After this demonstration and operational evaluation, we should be good to go. We will continue with the shock mitigation seats.  I will have Jeff Sinclair continue to push that effort.”

Risk

There is inherent risk in any new venture.  We believe this is offset by the ongoing legacy of DAMPS technology footwear testing with Special Operation Forces (SOF) and the one of a kind proprietary shock mitigation technology that has no comparables in the industry. The women’s footwear market is over 20 billion dollars US domestic only.  Once percent of this market has the venture earning hundreds of millions of dollars in licensing revenues, over five years.

If after one year no suitable license partners have been secured, management will then be tasked with raising additional management and money to fully implement manufacturing and marketing of DAMPS technology footwear, internationally.
